In November 2014, Rivertown Pediatrics was recognized as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The PCMH is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront and strives to build better relations between patients and their clinical care teams. “NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition raises the bar in defining high quality care by emphasizing access, health information technology and coordinated care focused on patients,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane.
